Akshardham Temple History
This Akshardham Temple was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. It took 5 years to build this temple. This temple was built in memory of Jyotirdhar Swami Narayan. BAPS (Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Sanstha) built this temple. More than 11000 artisans and the popular scriptural masters of the country have contributed to making this temple.
