Who Built India Gate, Delhi?

Edwin Lutyens was entrusted with the task of building the India Gate. Edwin Lutyens was a famous architect of England. He was known for constructing the building in his traditional style. And it was inaugurated by Lord Irwin, the Viceroy of India.

The construction of the India Gate was started on 10 February 1921, which was completed on 12 February 1931. If seen, it took a total of 10 years to build. Its design was taken from the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
