According to the Quran, the garden of Jannat (heaven) is rectangular. In which there is a footpath for walking around there and a pond in the middle. Such a design of the garden is called the Charbag style. The Charbag style was first built by the Mughals at Humayun’s Tomb, and the Taj Mahal. After this, it was built by the British in 1929 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Herbal Garden was established by the President of India in 2006. The garden was established with the help of Aromatic Plants and Central Medicinal (CIMAP) to promote natural treatment. In Herbal Garden you will see all kinds of herbs. There are about 33 types of special herbs are planted, which are found in different regions around the world.

2. Spiritual Garden
A spiritual garden consists of growing tree plants associated with all kinds of religions found in India. This garden was built to treat all religions as equal and to spread the messages of religions.
The Spiritual Garden was established on 25 October 2007 by Dr Devi Singh Shekhawat. In this garden, 40 types of trees have been planted. A pond was built in this garden on 13 February 2015. In which religious plants were planted.

3. Rectangular Garden
Rectangular Garden is the nearest to Rashtrapati Bhavan. This garden is rectangular, which is divided by water canals into smaller rectangles. Rectangular Garden is mainly used for service, ceremony, etc.
Colourful flowers bloom in rectangular beds in Rectangular Garden. Also, the thin canals built in it and the fountains built in make the garden even more beautiful.

4. Long Garden
In Long Garden, only roses are planted. In this, you can see 16 types of rose plants. This garden is considered truly pure from the rest of the gardens. Because this garden is surrounded by 12 meter high walls. Due to the high walls, the rose scent remains here, so this garden is always filled with the scent of roses.
To make the Long Garden even more beautiful, two elephant statues have been made in it. In the Long Garden, you can see roses like Rose Ice Berg, Rose Summer Snow, Rose Ola Homa, and Rose Luciana.
5. Circular Garden
A circular Garden is a flower garden. More than 30 types of flowers are available in circular beds. Circular Garden is the most famous garden of the Mughal Gardens. This garden got its name due to its round shape. By the way, it is also called Sunken Garden, Pearl Garden, and Butterfly Garden.
There is also a round pond in the centre of the Circular Garden, in which lotus flowers are planted. Demonstrations to farmers are also performed in this Circular Garden during the annual Udayanotsava celebrations.
Musical Garden is a garden that has lots of water springs. All these springs dance according to the rhythm of the music. They also have colourful lights which look quite beautiful at night. On the basis of music, these fountains show off their art.
Musical Garden was also founded in February 2006 by Doctor APJ Abdul Kalam. This garden is a beautiful example of a combination of science and music. In the garden, the national bird of India the peacock will also be able to see. In the off-season, patriotic songs are played on the tune of shehnai and veena.
After going inside the Mughal Garden, you can also visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Museum, and a ceremony called Change of Gord.
You cannot carry water bottles, food items, bags, cameras, and umbrellas in Mughal Garden. You can take a mobile phone, but you cannot use it. Apart from this, inside the garden, you can access the toilet, first aid, and drinking water.
There will be seven one-hour slots from 10 am to 5 pm. In a slot of which a total of 100 people will be able to go inside. Because of the coronavirus, you have to follow the government-given COVID protocol. In which it will be mandatory to wear the mask, maintain social distance and do a thermal scanning check.
If you already have any problems like fever, cold, and cough then you will not get entry into Mughal Garden. Apart from this, you will be able to go inside of Mughal Garden through gate number 35. Only tickets will be booked online to avoid ticket congestion.

Tickets are totally free. Because of the lockdown, you only have to go by booking tickets online. Like every time the ticket counter will not be at the gate of Mughal Garden. Along with this, you will have to bring ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter Card, Driving License, Passport, School / College I-Card) with you. Important things are that ages below 10 years and above 65 years are not allowed in Mughal Garden.

Mughal Garden opens for tourists only once a year for 15 days. It opens only in the spring season. At which time the flowers bloom in large quantities. In 2023 Mughal Garden will be open from 05 February to 08 March. Its opening time is never fixed. But it only opens in the spring season.
